QPH File Processor utility

The QPH File Processor utility is freeware. The utility will extract security and investment price information held within a Quicken personal finance QPH file.

The QPH File Processor utility has been written because some versions of Quicken Personal and Quicken Personal Plus published in some countries do not have the capability to export historical securities prices.

The utility will not change the QPH file.

Prices for one security or all securities can be extracted. Output is in tab-delimited text files, or Quicken-compatible CSV files (security code, price, date).

All prices for a single date can be extracted.

Superseded price data can be filtered out.

The utility enables a Quicken user to directly access the security price history data stored in a QPH file. A QPH file of up to 50 MB (52,428,800 bytes) in size can be processed.

Output data should be used with care. Stock splits, stock consolidations and other stock adjustments are not arithmetically incorporated in the output prices. The output prices reflect the raw prices held within the QPH file.
