Reltan's PossRec software package uses the NexusDB embedded SQL database driver. PossRec also includes a wide range of more than 30 pre-designed reports based on the FastReports reporting software. Each report is available with a few mouse clicks.

Using PossRec means the user can avoid complicated database drivers and server setups which can be complex to install, configure and maintain.

PossRec is a single, easy to install, exe file that runs on all recent Microsoft operating systems including Windows7. It will run on the latest hardware, or on a small netbook, allowing the user and PossRec to be truly mobile.

PossRec forms and screens are designed to dynamically resize, and can be used with a screen as small as 800 x 600 pixels. Of course, a larger screen allows much more information to be shown without scrolling. PossRec will run on a dual-screen setup without spanning the screen split.

PossRec comes with a sample dataset to make it easy to get started. However, PossRec's supporting tables of sources, types and currencies etc are editable to suit any user's needs. PossRec can be used to record any type of item.

A data import feature is included - using a text file, data from other sources such as an inventory spreadsheet or database can be imported into PossRec's main data table, without using any SQL language skills.

A user may create as many datasets as required. Each one can have its own set of supporting tables, allowing customisation within each dataset to suit the user's needs.

No knowledge of the SQL language is needed to use PossRec. None! However, if a user has SQL expertise, then even more data can be imported into PossRec from external sources.
